Sometimes you need a gentle reminder that murder is illegal

Ever run into someone, and within just a few minutes of talking to them, you realize that you hate them? I know that sounds pretty harsh, and you're probably thinking, "damn Bert, what the hell man?" Yet, I know without a shadow of a doubt the moment you read that, the very moment you finished reading the first sentance a name popped into your head. Don't lie, as you are reading this your mind is playing back the first time you met that person, and you are reliving the moment you realized that you were going to hate them, no matter how hard you tried not to. You think of that person and you realize that the world might just be a better place if they weren't using up precious air and resources to get more energy to fuel thier stupidity.
It's okay, it doesn't make you a bad person, at all. It means that you are human, and that you are secure enough in who you are to know that your personality and thiers is going to clash. Its usually more than one thing about them too. If you meet someone and there is one thing about them as a person that bothers you, that's usually not to hard to deal with. An annoying laugh, lack of mental filter, lack of personal hygene, anything of the sort can usually be avoided decently. It's when there are multiple things, or just thier whole personality in general, that you realize in just a matter of moments that this person has just made the people you hate list, and in record time too. It also always seems to boil down to a single sentance that they say that just snaps the last bit of self control you have and makes you want to reach forward, smack them in the face and yell, "are you serious right now?"
For me it was the line, "i'll tell you what, nothing frustrates me more than giving directions to women. They are all too busy stuck in thier own heads convinced that they are already in the right place, that they dont bother to listen to a man give them sound directions. Always gotta repeat myself. Mark my words, not a single man will give you any issue when you direct them, its only woman, and its usually the old ones."
That was all it took, almost everything that came out of thier mouth from then on kept my annoyed and on edge. I couldnt beleive the bigotry, masogiany, and down right rudeness of  this person. How could they live thier life feeling like this all the time? How could anyone stand to be around them more than a few minutes at a time without losing thier mind? It really started to get to me more and more with every stupid thing that was said. That was when I decided to make the best of it and started my own hashtag on Facebook and Twitter, #5Tism is the hashtag. It doesn't just cover this one person though, it also covers so many things that I over hear walking the halls at work, being around the public, and just sitting back and listening to what people have to say.
It occured to me the other day that I should see if I could get this to trend online. So I am asking you, my readers, to start posting the crazy, ubsurd, random things you hear day to day at work or in public and add the hashtag #5Tism to your post. I would love to see what people post and maybe we can get people to realize that they really need to pay attention to what comes out of their mouth.
So, please, make at least one post on your Facebook or Twitter with this hashtag and let me know. I am eager to find out what people are saying that just drive you crazy. If its you that saying the crazy stuff, then I suggest blaming it on the Bloodwine.

Bert
