John Wick is amazing and here's why.......

By a raise of hands, how many of you have seen the first John Wick movie?

A bunch of you, good. Now, raising your other hand, how many of you have seen John Wick Chapter 2?

Not as many but still a bunch, if you can read this and haven't dropped your phone, go ahead and put your hands down now. Thanks for participating.

For those who didn't raise their hands, I am going to be talking about the movies, and try not to spoil anything, but just beware that reading this may lesson some of the joy of watching the movie for the first time with only knowing a little bit about it.

Okay, is it safe to talk? Those movies are amazing on so many levels for so many reasons. Not even sure where to begin. Actually, no, that's a lie. I will begin with my favorite thing about those movies, no unlimited ammo cheat for the movie.

PEOPLE ACTUALLY RUN OUT OF BULLETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can even count the shots and notice that they only shoot the correct number of shots that suit the gun and/or clip that they are using. I get so tired of action movies where you never see them reload or even seem to have a need to reload. They pick up a six shot revolver and shoot ten people before they knock out the brass. That or they take an Uzi and shoot almost nonstop for three minutes before the gun jams and they throw it on the ground and start fighting in a hail of gun fire and never get hit.

This movie is much more grounded in reality when it comes to those scenes. Now yes, he is supposed to be the ultimate assassin, so he can fight and shoot better than most people could ever dream, but, the rest of the movie is so well grounded in reality that it blows you away.

I have seen the first one maybe 6 times, and every time I am blown away with how well they choreographed the fight scenes in the movie to suit Keanu Reeves. They made it all look so natural and second nature that you really believe he is that good of a fighter.

There are many other amazing things in this movie, things like the cast, the locations, the back lore, and so on. However talking about that stuff will definitely involve giving away spoilers and I don't want to do that. I just had to tell you all to go see both of these movies, buy them if you can. They are incredible works of action movie art and rank in my top five actions series movies of all time. The first John Wick movie in is my top five favorite actions movies ever.

Will definitely be buying the second one the day it comes out and watching them back to back. Couldn't think of a better way to end a long week, but maybe that's just the bloodwine talking.
