Root of all evil?
It is amazing how quickly overtime at work can kill any chance of you having a social life, let alone try to keep up on blogs and such. I have averaged 60 hours a week, every week, since June. This next pay week will be the first one since then that I have not picked up a single overtime shift. My usual work week, I get all my hours in 3 days and then get a 4 day weekend. Which is how I can go about picking up so many hours a week and still having at least one day off. As much as I am glad to be rid of the overtime, I am soooooo going to miss the overtime money that was coming from it. Money is the root of all evil, or at least that's what I was taught. However, without money, nothing good happens, so is it money that is the root of all evil, or is it greed that is the root of all evil. Because with all of the money I was bringing in, I did nothing inherently evil with it. In fact I paid off bills, I bought things needed for the house, I bought things needed for my kids, I helped ...
