Root of all evil?

It is amazing how quickly overtime at work can kill any chance of you having a social life, let alone try to keep up on blogs and such. I have averaged 60 hours a week, every week, since June. This next pay week will be the first one since then that I have not picked up a single overtime shift. My usual work week, I get all my hours in 3 days and then get a 4 day weekend. Which is how I can go about picking up so many hours a week and still having at least one day off. As much as I am glad to be rid of the overtime, I am soooooo going to miss the overtime money that was coming from it.
Money is the root of all evil, or at least that's what I was taught. However, without money, nothing good happens, so is it money that is the root of all evil, or is it greed that is the root of all evil. Because with all of the money I was bringing in, I did nothing inherently evil with it. In fact I paid off bills, I bought things needed for the house, I bought things needed for my kids, I helped out friends in need, and I made sure my gf got a little spoiling.
So I dont believe all this about money being the root of all evil, I beleive that greed is the root of all evil, greed and the pursuit of things we dont actually need.
I know this is a random post but it was something that was weighing on my mind this morning when I discovered that our overtime was going away.

Avatar The Last Airbender, not the blue people

Here comes news I have been waiting to hear for years: The people behind Avatar The Last Airbender ,  Michael Dante DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko , are working on a BUNCHof new Avatar shows. The new Avatar Studios’ slate will consist of an animated movie AND show debuting every year starting in 2025, including the adult Gaang movie and new earth Avatar show in 2025, including the Zuko movie and the Kyoshi Movie, which have both been reconfirmed as in development. I shared the image earlier but I will again, to give you an idea of the timeline. So we have Live Action Netflix adaptation that I am just hoping is better than the last live action adaptation. Wee hours of the morning and I find myself still trying to finish packing for one of the biggest gaming events of the year (I know our traveling companions are still packing too). We leave Friday, but that does not mean that my brain is not going into overdrive trying to make sure that every necessary costume piece is packed. I start thinking to myself..."I could do this for a living. Traveling somewhere different all the time, cosplaying someone who isn't me." My dogs pace around my feet, whining and sniffing my suitcase. Gencon 50 is going to be the biggest it has ever been. They have had nearly all badges sell out (100,000+).
