Yes I like this movie

So I have a confession to make.
I watched the movie Disney’s Descendants with my children, and I actually enjoyed myself. Yes, that’s right; a 34 year old man watched a Disney teen movie and enjoyed it.
1)      Kristin Chenoweth is a FANTASTIC actress and singer. She play Maleficent and does such a great job at it, plus her singing voice is on point.
2)      The rest the villains do a pretty good job at playing their roles well. I don’t know if they would play their original selves well, but playing their run down imprisoned selves they do awesome.
3)      The children of the villains all pull off their roles flawlessly.
4)      The children of the famous Disney heroes play their roles on point as well.
5)      The amount of “cameo” type appearances and references in this movie are fantastic.
6)      The music is made for the new generation of children, and a few of them are good enough to be played on pop radio in my opinion.
7)      There is a much more grey area in the movie about right and wrong and what makes a hero and I like that. Being a hero is about CHOOSING good, rather than just BEING good.

And to quote Larry the Cucumber,
“I laughed, I cried, it moved me Bob.”

I think more people should give this movie a try with their kids, I bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised, but hey, that could just be the bloodwine talking.
